Mutiny is set on a seaside town, surrounded by shipwrecks, which was beautifully designed by the community map creators, but if there’s any problem, it could be the color palette, which, according to the report, is similar to the new Cache wherein some players have reported concerns on the visibility after the early testing. Still, it’s an excellent map for those who want to take things slow, calculate the other team’s movement, and create a great strategy to take over the map. But while Mutiny offers slow-paced gameplay, Swamp might be ” CSGO ‘s fastest map,” as both sides could instantly take over the map in an instant, with players getting onsite quite fast. Sure enough, both maps have boost spots scattered across to give players an advantage over the other team. Nevertheless, one of the bigger changes is that players can no longer turn off the game’s Trusted Mode, which caused problems to players who were using some software. This caused a lot of boosted players or players with bought accounts, and with them came the cheaters. Valve’s decision to launch Trusted Mode was to avoid these problems, but it’s apparently making it worse. Tech Times. Love Tech Times?
Getting started with CS:GO: Gameplay, weapons, maps, tournaments, players and more
Knowing how to use your utility in CS GO is one of the most important things to know. Whether you are playing in a team or just playing matchmaking, mastering them will improve your game by a lot. There are many ways to train them.
New community maps have arrived in CS:GO. we might be seeing new maps Swamp and Mutiny in the competitive matchmaking mappool.
Maps are the space or arena where players confront one another. This term is used almost exclusively when describing multiplayer games. Maps in the Counter-Strike series pit Terrorists against Counter-Terrorists in real-world style locations. In some map scenarios, players are awarded money for completing the map’s objectives or by eliminating players from the opposing team. Arsenal scenario maps rewards players with new weapons for completing objectives.
There was an unreleased map for this mode that was leaked in the Danger Zone update, XL Dust , which was later released under the name Sirocco. As of the July 1, update, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive introduced new map grouping as a way to further organize the maps for in-game and official competitive tournaments, as well as for use as mission parameters. The active duty and reserve groups contain official maps, while the operations group contains maps for the currently active operation.
The lists may be subject to change by Valve at any time based on further testing and feedback. The system was updated on the November 13, update. They consist entirely of Bomb maps. Major tournaments are encouraged to include maps from the active duty group to keep the system balanced starting with the ESL One Cologne tournament . Following the November 13, update, they are not available as a blanket map group search option for casual and deathmatch, and are instead a special category for maps in the Competitive game search, marked as the official competitive map pool.
A currently removed map group, maps from the Reserves group are among the less popular of players, but are very different and unique compared to the other maps, contrasting with the Active Duty group.

CS:GO update adds new maps Anubis, Chlorine
Why is it so popular? What the hell is that Scottish guy saying? Having worked on the recent Cache and Season remakes, and some more famous maps besides, Shawn is known for his immaculate art style and well-balanced, flavourful levels. At every major tournament, I see professional players playing the same maps in new and unexpected ways. The game of Counter-Strike is one of nuance and delicacy, and in part, this is because of its maps.
New Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Map Changes have decided to remove two maps from CSGO’s community matchmaking, specifically.
A new CSGO update has removed two maps, Jungle and Swamp, from community matchmaking as well as adding two brand new ones into the mix. In addition to the maps, devs also removed the option to turn off Trusted Mode. The mode has caused some trouble for users of some software, but the developers also added a new launch command to help take off some of that pressure. In the past, turning off Trusted Mode has negatively affected a player’s Trust Factor. It’s possible this is still the case, so players should be warned of the possibility before using the new launch option.
Mutiny and Swamp are now live in CSGO, and they’re both impressive efforts from community map creators. While Mutiny feels huge, set on a seaside town surrounded by shipwrecks. The focus here is controlling the sides of the map instead of mid, and with several paths to take between the two, players should focus on map control on this one. Graphically, Mutiny is a beautiful map, but its color pallete is close enough to the new Cache that there are some concerns about visibility after early testing.
Players will surely see some updates in the regard from CSGO devs, but that shouldn’t take away from just how good the maps looks.

Valve have just released their patch notes for their recent CS:GO update. Here below is the full list of updates and changes in the newest patch for CS:GO:. Today we have a number of updates. Chlorine and Jungle have been removed from official matchmaking and Mutiny and Swamp have been added.
along a new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update. The big news are a couple of new maps that have been added to matchmaking servers.
The game pits two teams against each other: the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists. Both sides are tasked with eliminating the other while also completing separate objectives. The Terrorists, depending on the game mode, must either plant the bomb or defend the hostages, while the Counter-Terrorists must either prevent the bomb from being planted, defuse the bomb, or rescue the hostages. There are nine game modes, all of which have distinct characteristics specific to that mode.
The game also has matchmaking support that allows players to play on dedicated Valve servers, as well as allowing members of the community to host their own servers with custom maps and game modes. A battle-royale game-mode , “Danger Zone”, was introduced in Global Offensive received positive reviews from critics on release, who praised for its gameplay and faithfulness to predecessors, though it was criticized for some of its early features and was noted for differences between the console and PC versions.
Since its release, it has drawn in an estimated 11 million players per month, and has gathered an active competitive scene, with many tournaments sponsored by Valve themselves. In December , Valve transitioned the game to a free-to-play model, focusing on revenue from cosmetic items. Global Offensive , like prior games in the Counter-Strike series, is an objective-based, multiplayer first-person shooter.
Two opposing teams, known as the Terrorists and the Counter-Terrorists, compete in game modes to complete objectives, such as securing a location to plant or defuse a bomb and rescuing or guarding hostages. Winning rounds rewards more money than losing does, and completing objectives such as killing enemies gives cash bonuses. There are five categories of purchasable weapons, four being guns and the final being utilities: rifles , sub-machine guns SMGs , heavy, pistols , and grenades.
CS:GO map rankings for beginners
Recently, there have been some complaints about the performance optimization in the map Cache. The latest update addressed that issue along with lots of new changes to the maps. Release Notes for today are up. Nuke and Overpass have had the new 1v1 Warmup mode added in Wingman. In the new mode players would be spawned in 1v1 arenas during warmup resulting in better quality pre-match practice overall due to the smaller arenas and constant gunplay. The devs had also mentioned that they might expand the new mode to other maps based on the response from the community.
Valve updated Counter-Strike: Global Offensive yesterday, bringing some New bench will be the MatchMaking paradise y’all
The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive devs introduced new Scrimmage Maps to their competitive matchmaking offerings to the game, giving players a valuable mode to play with. CS:GO features legendary maps that have been around for years, but even pros and diehard players routinely find new angles and nade lineups throughout a location. Even though this playlist falls under the competitive matchmaking tab, its biggest draw is that games are unranked and a team composed of any skill-ranking can party up together.
This makes playing the game a lot more forgiving for people who want to experiment or just learn a new map in a live setting instead of the stale environment of jumping into an offline practice session. Additionally, if Valve sees positive feedback for the Scrimmage playlist then the possibility of expanding the feature to include more traditional maps could benefit every player, from Silver to Global Elites.
Scrimmage Maps might feature a few trolls in there for kicks, but as a whole it could be used as a helpful feature for the CS:GO community. Valve New maps like Ruby can be overwhelming to learn without the right practice tool.
choose which maps to play, or rather, which map you would like NOT you don’t want to play before joining matchmaking queues in CS:GO.
That being said, I absolutely love the new entries. Anubis and Chlorine finished first and second in the Mapcore map contest, respectively, and boy oh boy do they deserve the spotlight. Anubis is a visual stunner. I would argue the most beautiful CS:GO map to date. I do have slight concerns about gameplay as it does feel a bit too closed up at times, to a degree of saturation. It is surprisingly well constructed for all types of play — something even competitive maps struggle with at times.
As a result, Chlorine comes off as a viable map to play actual Counter-Strike on and having genuine fun while doing so. The new maps will be available in official Deathmatch, Casual and Scrimmage game modes, but not competitive matchmaking. Fans of CS:GO skins were also treated well by this update.
